have to say without questioning anything.
• Have a good relationship with professors. They are humans and
everybody likes a friendly chat.
• Professors also like a healthy debate.
• They can not only help you out with academics but also with
industry contacts.
8. Try to join a Startup
You may not be able to join in the first year, but do it by the 2nd year.
• Try the internship route
• Work for free if you have to
Startups are disorganised, busy, without much standarised activity. This helps
you work in challenging environment.
Also helpful if you want to start your own company in future.
Since they do a lot of stuff that hasn’t been done by them before, take minute-
b-minute decisions, they are bound to makes mistakes. LEARN from those

9. You will be working with people, in a team and you have to get along with
others. People who are promoted are not necessarily the best workers but
the most liked ones. Having people skills would make you a good manager
and you’ll get more opportunities.

To present in true widescreen, you’ll
need a computer and, optionally, a
projector or flat panel that can output
widescreen resolutions.
