telcos).
o Monaco is all about being big - millions of subscribers, 100’s of thousands of assets under management and 1000’s of
virtual machines for deployment.
o Monaco is all about being fast - ingesting new assets into the viewing catalog on a constant basis, handling channel
changes and video on demand transactions, providing api’s to other applications.
o Monaco lives on GitHub.
 Supported Agile development - Pivotal Tracker and now Version One.
 Utilized Mongo for big data. Built wrappers for the Aggregation Pipeline and redesigned most of the data access code.
 Utilized Javascript, CoffeeScript and jQuery.
 Tackled and solved a number of performance related issues immediately after joining.
 Restructured the user experience to provide paging and searching over a large number of assets.
 Redefined a number of API’s so they are now state of the art.
 After being on board for a month, I was leading several lunch and learns. I also participated in all big design discussions.
 Launched a new rails app to provide Cloud and VmWare deployment of 100’s of servers and 1000’s of virtual machines.
 Fixed a lot of Javascript code and introduced CoffeeScript into the program.

Software Consulting and Inventing August 2010 - April 2012
 Completed a stealth project with investors on a rails application that would evaluate athletic performance. The application would
allow sports teams (NCAA, professional) evaluate potential recruits and draft picks.
 The evaluation was based on a set of user-defined skills and on a gap analysis of the current team.
 Completed work with a finger printing, card reader cradle company out of Australia on a business proposal for various smart phone
applications. Targeted medium food distribution companies with very strict inventory requirements.
Atlanta Tennis Championships Sponsorship May – July; 2010 and 2011
 Responsible for ALTA’s (Atlanta Lawn Tennis Associations) sponsorship of the Atlanta Tennis Championships.
 Negotiated sponsorship agreement with USTA (United States Tennis Association).
 Lead all marketing programs.

2. Enablence Inc. Feb 2002 - May 2010
Vice President of Engineering
 Originally Wave7Optics but later acquired by Enablence- promoted from Director of Software Engineering.
 Enablence designed, manufactured and sold telecommunications equipment that proved solutions for Fiber to the Home and Fiber
to the Business applications.
 Executive position in charge of the engineering program for the systems division. The product line included Optical Line Terminals,
Optical Network Terminals, Element Management Systems, copper access products, routers and switches.
 Management of hardware development, embedded software development, element management system development and quality
assurance.
 Built a multi-site team that included 2 North American locations with 45 engineers and an offshore location (India) with 35
engineers.
 Lead the product rationalization and definition of the merged product line as a result of the Pannaway acquisition.
 Developed on off shore development center in India and realized substantial cost savings as a result.
 Implemented various scripts using Ruby. These include:
o Manufacturing test and configuration for new product
o Software backup scripts
o Test automation scripts
 Large list of telecommunications protocols and embedded software can be provided.
