the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the
sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing
them for fear, and for looking after those things
which are coming on the earth: for the powers of
heaven shall be shaken.

3. 1 John 4:16-20 ~ And we have known and
believed the love that God hast towards us. God is
love; and He that dwells in love dwells in God and
God in Him. Herein is our love made perfect, that
we may have boldness in the day of judgment:
because as He is so are we in this world. There is
no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:
because fear has torment. He that fears is not
made perfect in love. We love Him, because He
first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hates
his brother, he is a liar. ~

4. What does this have to do with my
finances?

5. Every seven (7) years there is to be a sabbath
year (shmita Hebrew: שמיטה ,literally "release")
also called the sabbatical
year orsheviit (Hebrew: שביעית ,literally
"seventh") is the seventh year of the seven-year
agricultural cycle mandated by the Torah for
the Land of Israel

6. Duringshmita , the land is left to lie fallow and all
agricultural activity, including plowing, planting,
pruning and harvesting, is forbidden
by halakha (walking out God’s teachings and
instructions). All debts, except those of foreigners,
were to be remitted.

7. Leviticus 25:1-7
Chapter 25 of the Book of Leviticus promises
bountiful harvests to those who observe
the shmita , and describes its observance as a
Statute and judgment (deliverer/deliverance) of
YHWH. There is little notice of the observance of
this year in Biblical history and it was much
neglected.
All debts are to be cancelled ~ all books cleared ~
in essence all financial aspects of one’s debts were
reset.

8. Jeremiah 34:13-14~
Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel: I made a
covenant with your fathers in the day that I
brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out
of the house of bondage, saying: "At the end of
seven years ye shall let go every man his brother
that is a Hebrew, that hath been sold unto thee,
and hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him
go free from thee"; but your fathers hearkened
not unto Me, neither inclined their ear."

"...And them that had escaped from the sword
carried he away to Babylon; and they were
servants to him and his sons until the reign of the
kingdom of Persia; to fulfill the word of the Lord
by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had been

is a warning where His hand of protection is
removed in a limited removing, in order to call
the nation back to Him.
September 11, 2001 we witnessed the
foreshadowing of the collapse of America’s pride
and her strength—her economy.
America did not return.

September 2008—A Shemita year. 7 years after
the warning of September 2001—the economic
and financial realm experienced its 2nd
warning—an Economic Shaking

20. 2008—Global Economic Collapse
½ the mortgages in the US were owned by
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
On the brink of Collapse, 9/7—the
Government moved in and seized control—
(FM/FM debt was released—A massive Shemita)
7 days after, Lehman Brothers, on the brink of
collapse, filed bankruptcy—a wiping clear of
debt. The Gov., Federal Reserve, B of A, Barclays
said they would do nothing and allow them to
fall. A massive Shemita.

21. $4B Lost-the next day DOW plummeted 40%
On the last day of the Shemita year, Elul 29
(Hebrew Calendar) the total loss was $777B
Lehman Bros. $613B…613 is the number of
commandments in the Torah, God’s teaching
and instruction
On the last day of the 7 year cycle all the money
was wiped away. It was a mass wipe out of credit
and debt
Next several weeks the markets reeled.

22. It is interesting to note that even though
Congress attempted to stop the collapse, the bill
was rejected, the opening bell refused to ring at
the stock market--$700B bailout
777pt crash
On the day before the 7th month of T’ishrei on
the Hebrew calendar, at the 7th hour of trading
the market had been wiped clean to a whopping
7% of their value.

23. Only one day every 7 years, can the Shemita
occur according to the Torah…29 Elul
2001, September 17-Stocks crashed as a result
of 9/11—Elul 29
2008, September 29—Elul 29
On the day ordained by YHWH, a massive debt
release occurred filled with the number 7

24. It was a God ordained wiping out of debt and
credit that shook the worlds financial and
economic systems.
At the end of a 7 year period, $777.7 B dollars
wiped out, markets fell both times to 7% of their
total value at the 7th hour.
At 9AM on 9/11, 7 years before the crash of
2008, we were in the middle of the 9/11 attacks.
7 minutes prior, the first plane hit the North
Tower. (8:46:30)…at 4 pm on Sept. 29, 2008, at
the 7th hour of trading, the markets closed.

that began in September 2008.

28. The responsibility for the fate of a nation rests
on the people of God.
1 Peter 2:9
The sign of the Shemita comes as the result of a
nation that once know God and have driven Him
out.
The sign of the Shemita is the sign that a nation
is under judgment.

29. Don’t allow yourself to get caught up on the
media or in the spirit of rebellion
Begin to rule God in from the areas where
America has driven Him out.

30. Acts 16:25-64 About midnight Paul and Silas were
praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners
were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great
earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were
shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened,
and everyone’s bonds were unfastened. When the jailer
woke and saw that the prison doors were open, he
drew his sword and was about to kill himself,
supposing that the prisoners had escaped. But Paul
cried with a loud voice, “Do not harm yourself, for we
are all here.” And the jailer called for lights and rushed
in, and trembling with fear he fell down before Paul
and Silas. Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs,
what must I do to be saved?”

34. What are we to turn to if our ways are wicked?

Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
So what are His ways?
God gave His teaching and instruction—His
Torah to Moses at Mount Sinai on the day that
foreshadowed Pentecost—

My Spirit remains in your midst. Fear not. For
thus says the LORD of hosts: Yet once more, in a
little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth
and the sea and the dry land. And I will shake all
nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall

responsible spiritually to God for other people?

God in my private life, everyone around me
suffers. We “sit together in the heavenly places . .
.” (Ephesians 2:6). “If one member suffers, all the
members suffer with it . . .” (1 Corinthians 12:26).
If you allow physical selfishness, mental
carelessness, moral insensitivity, or spiritual
weakness, everyone in contact with you will
suffer. But you ask, “Who is sufficient to be able to
live up to such a lofty standard?” “Our sufficiency
is from God . . .” and God alone (2 Corinthians
3:5).

47. Jesus commended others who practiced giving
tithes regularly in the Temple.
In Luke 4:16 we read that Jesus made a CUSTOM
(habitual practice) out of going to the synagogue
on the Sabbath. From Mark 12:41-42 we can see
that the custom of giving into the Treasury was a
public display of giving. If Jesus condoned others
tithing wouldn't it make sense that He practiced
what He taught that others should do?

48. And if Jesus was a habitual attendee of the
Synagogue, wouldn't it be likely that He practiced
the customs of the Temple and Synagogues He
attended, which would include the practice of
Tithing?
Since giving was done publicly, all the Jews knew
that Jesus kept the Laws without flaw, therefore
could not accuse Him of robbing God by not
paying tithes.

51. Stewards of Glory
When you keep the tithe, God promises not only
to open the heavens, but to bless you in all areas,
keeping you in health…blessing the work of your
hands, your family, your coming and going….
Was Jesus Poor? No. When the bible says He
became poor, it is saying He gave up the Glory of
Heaven so that you might receive it….on earth,
He had a treasurer…who betrayed Him.

53. Matthew 6:33 Seek first the Kingdom of God.
The wisdom of God is contained in His Word.
Your Blessings comes by obedience…
Faith is an action…Emunah
The bible was written in Hebrew which is a
language of ACTION

54. Repent, Begin to Tithe, obeying the Word of God
diligently…where do you tithe? Tithe to the
house that spiritually feeds you…if a home
group, put your tithe there. Just begin to be
obedient and watch the Faithfulness of God begin
to manifest in your life
Study His Torah—If you think the Torah has been
done away with, you are following a different
God.
Yeshua lived, talked and walked the Torah, in
order to show you how to live it out.

you will have to be focused and stay calm to receive
the wisdom you need to get through the changes that
this season brings, says the Lord. Philippians 4:7 and
the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ
Jesus.
