We are a proudly Kiwi initiative that
provides a range of services and solutions
revolving around Social Media, business
development, digital technologies and legal
advice for the “new world order”.
We aim to be the pioneers of social media
planning, policy and protection for Kiwi’s
and their businesses.

2. What does AssistNZ do?
We offer a range of workshops,
training and consultancy
through out the community.
For individuals we have two
primary courses on offer:
Online Reputation Management-
an introduction to your rights and
responsibilities online
Social Media with a purpose-
using social media to help
achieve your goals

As Kiwi businesses have increasing
encounters with social media, we have
developed two specific workshops

workshops available:

guide to managing your brand
online & protecting your business
Promoting your Social Media-
understanding & planning for
effective introductions of social
media in your business operations

Social Media Policy is increasingly a
must have for any modern business.
We commonly provide advise and solutions for
Kiwi business struggling to establish their own
protection from the social media use of others...
While some organisation
Employees Customers have begun to focus on
& Brand
social media, most have

Contractors
limited their focus to the
Compliance &
Regulation external aspects of their
(iGovt)
business operations.

5. Who is AssistNZ?
The co-directors of AssistNZ are a
somewhat over educated pair;
Jess Maher (with background in Information Management, Human Resources & Small Business Development)
James Williamson (with a background in Pharmaceuticals, Expert Consulting and Law).
They work with a number of consultants whom are all also avid users
and consumers of social media... These individuals come from a wide
variety of different backgrounds and disciplines, each add unique
and valuable experience, perspective and knowledge to our
organisation.
Sweet As Social Media Society is an organisation which aims to
promote the positive and valuable use of social media in NZ.

6. Where is AssistNZ?
Our offices are based on Royal Road in
Massey, Waitakere City. Open Hrs 10am-6pm
We offer workshops and training around
Auckland in a number of community
centres and other facilities.
Our ORM Workshop in Auckland is
operated from The Community of St
Lukes Centre, 130 Remuera Road,
Newmarket
