• Your reunion chair seemingly disappears, leaving no one in charge to
make all of the arrangements for your reunion weekend. What does
the board do to address the problem?
• Instead of not doing anything, your reunion chair does too much.
Committees exist in name only and decisions and purchases are
being made by the reunion chair without any collaboration with co-
chairs or class officers. How do you handle this?
• Members of your class have said they don’t feel the need to come to
reunion because they’ve stayed in touch with their friends since
graduation. How do you persuade them to come?

• You have planned a great Saturday night program that centers on a
presentation by a classmate in her field of expertise. But it becomes clear
as she starts her talk that it’s really a sales job for a questionable financial
product. What do you do?
• One of your classmates volunteers to be the entertainment on Saturday
night but others who are familiar with the classmate do not believe she is
the caliber of entertainment the class is looking for. How do you nicely
decline her offer?
