Current and updated Investor Presentation for Planet Postmoderna. We are still the process of going after funding. Initially, if we can achieve the seed round we can cover the development costs over the next 6 months in order to build a viable demo.
This will allow us to go after the remainder of funds.

Editor's Notes
Planet Postmoderna...a sci-fi virtual world online game with a real cash economy.
How many of you play games, know someone that plays games or makes them? Do you realize how much money is in the various game sectors? First it shows that in 2009/2010 MMOs or Massive Multiplay Online Games were representing about 6B$ of the 50B$ cake of the game industry. About half of that comes from monthly subscriptions (WoW-style) while 10% from annual subscriptions (Xbox-live ? ). Virtual currency is oddly high in France, probably the effect of MMOs such as Dofus which are highly successful around here. The remaining bulk of the market is tied up in Casual Games such as those on Facebook, Club Penguin, etc. 1 The bulk of most of the revenue for most MMO games comes from subscriptions followed by virtual currency. This is the area with greatest potential (and abuse) for growth. As players realize that they can build businesses and possibly turn a profit from playing, they will do more of it. Americans spend 26M hours per day in total playing MMO games. In 2011, total US MMO games consumer spend will grow 3% compared to 2011 from $2.5bn to $2.6bn. Free-to-play MMO games take 47% of all money spent on MMO games in the US, up from 39% in 2010. The total US F2P MMO market has grown from $1.0bn to $1.2bn: +24%. Free-to-play MMO games gross more revenues than Pay- to-play MMOs in Asian (51%), European (53%) and Emerging markets (59%). Free-to-play MMO revenues for 7 key EU countries totals $1.1bn. Emerging Markets Russia, Brazil and Mexico spend $0.4bn. Korea and China combined spend $2.2bn on Free-to-play MMOs. 84% of American MMO gamers plays browser-based MMOs. Almost half of these consumers also play client- based MMOs. 37% of F2P MMO gamers prefer SciFi/Space themed MMO games. This is 35% for P2P (Pay to Play like WoW) MMO gamers. 68% of American SciFi MMO gamers play Free-to-Play MMOs 16% of American SciFi MMO gamers play Pay-to-Play MMOs 16% play both Free-to-Play and Pay-to-Play MMO games Most Free-to-Play gamers play for free but the number of SciFi MMO gamers spending money in Free-to-Play MMO games outnumbers the 4.5 Million Pay-to-Play gamers!!
Planet Postmoderna is a virtual world that is a free-to-play sci-fi online virtual world game with integrated sub-worlds (mini-virtual worlds) based on times and civilizations in our history designed to entertain and teach (indirectly). The world is the first habitable planet to be found since long-distance space travel was first made possible. The first sub-world on this planet is based on the Mayan and Axtec Civilizations and timelines. All of this is wrapped in a real money economy where players can deposit and withdraw funds from their virtual accounts. We are leveraging the technology of an already successful game and platform, Entropia Universe, in order to do this. We are basically franchising their business and game model and building a standalone world that we design and manage ourselves.
Entropia Universe was launched in January 2003 by Mindark PE AB. and has grown to more than 950,000 registered accounts from over 200 countries. It is the only virtual universe with a true Real Cash Economy (RCE). They created a Partner Planet Program that allows, outside companies to come in and develop stand-alone worlds within the game. The business model has been very successful. Using this platform arrangement will shave off $6M in development costs. Doing so allows us to use what is typically a franchise model instead being that of an untested start-up. The 2010 player transaction turnover of Entropia Universe topped $422,000,000 U.S. For more information, visit http:// www.entropiauniverse.com The te chnology is the CryEngine2 Game engine, the economic and game platforms are all managed and maintained with Mindark, the game owner. By providing Mindark a new world and they providing us support and the platform, we share our world revenues with them 50/50. We ’ll show you our projections later based on 10,000 concurrent users.
Entropia Universe Manage Player accounts and inventory. Gold Card Encrypted Security and Real Value Item Tracking The currency, Project Entropia Dollars (PED), has a fixed exchange rate of 10:1 with the U.S. Dollar. The business model is unique as it is based on micropayments, meaning that the client software is free to download from the Internet, and there are no monthly subscription fees, thus Entropia Universe provides a way for new players to immediately start exploring without having to deposit money. Virtual funds acquired in Entropia Universe can easily be exchanged and then withdrawn into real‐world funds.
Here is a sample of the inventory screen in Entropia Universe.
Here is a sample of the deposit screen in Entropia Universe. Players can deposite and withdraw funds.
Here is a sample of the auctions screen. The example I have talked about in the past, the sale of Crystal Palace Space Station, was done here. It sold for $330,000 in 2010. More recently a whole resort area sold for $665,000. Typical auctions are for small and usual items that are worth anywhere between $10 PED (1 USD) to $1000 PED (100 USD).

Basically we are looking at about $1.5 Million Development Costs that if funded we can bind a contract with Mindark and Entropia Universe The following scenario illustrates a possible Business Case at month 24 from initialization: • 200,000 accounts • 10,000 concurrent users (simultaneous users online at any time) • US$20 revenue per customer per month • US$4,000,000 total revenue per month, the Partner ’s share: US$2,000,000 Under our projections we are profitable after the first year! Remember the statistics I shared about the average player hours and those that spend money in F2P games? Americans spend 26M hours per day in total playing MMO games. 4.5 Million + that put money into the F2P accounts voluntarily.
