• The concept of the metaverse is not new and has
been around since the early 1990s, but it has
gained significant traction in recent years, thanks
to advancements in virtual and augmented reality
technologies.

land on Sandbox VR, a virtual real estate firm. Gucci, a fashion brand, collaborated with
game developer Roblox to sell goods in the metaverse. Balenciaga has partnered with
