This document describes three types of conditionals in English. Type 0 conditionals are used to describe general truths or facts using the present simple tense. 3. Type 1 – things likely to happen in the future
If + present simple, will + base verb
If John comes late, we will not go out.
If she is hungry, she will get angry.
If you watch horror movies, you will not sleep at night
Will+ Base Verb if + present simple
We won’t go out if John comes late.
She will get angry if she is hungry.
You won’t sleep at night if you watch horror movies, .

4. ype 2 – things unlikely to happen in the futur
If + Past simple, would + base verb
If John came late, we would not go out.
If she was hungry, she would get angry.
If you watched horror movies, you wouldn’t sleep at nigh
Would + Base Verb if + Past simple
We wouldn’t go out if John came late.
She wouldn’t get angry if she was hungry.
