  3. 3. <ul><li>Definition: Puberty is the process of physical changes by which a child's body becomes an adult body capable of reproduction. </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>We're talking about changes, like girls developing breasts and boys starting to look more like men. When puberty, the body will grow faster and faster. </li></ul><ul><li>Usually, puberty starts between ages 8 and 13 in girls and ages 10 and 15 in boys. So same friends can appear more kids than others. When our body is preparated to start the change, pituitary gland releases special hormones. </li></ul>
  5. 5. <ul><li>Hormones don´t change only the way your body looks on the outside, they also create changes on the inside. During puberty, you might feel confused or have strong emotions that you've never had before. You can feel overly sensitive or become upset easily. Some kids lose their tempers more often and get angry with their friends or families. You also may feel anxious about how your changing body looks. This changes are important and also you must be happy, don´t be afraid. </li></ul>
  6. 9. <ul><li>Menstruation is the shedding of the uterine lining . It occurs on a regular basis in reproductive-age females of certain mammal species. </li></ul>
  7. 10. <ul><li>It´s a menstrual flow that alert that she is growing up and her body is preparing so that she might have a baby someday </li></ul><ul><li>For most girls, it amounts to about 2 tablespoons (Cucharas). To catch the blood and prevent stains on her clothes, a girl can wear a pad, which sticks to her underwear, or a tampon, which is inserted into the vagina. </li></ul>

  9. 12. <ul><li>There are many signs to know that you are ouvulatings. </li></ul><ul><li>1.-Th ere will be changes in your cervical mucus. The amount of cervical mucus increases as well as the texture. </li></ul><ul><li>2.-Your body temperature will rise. </li></ul><ul><li>After you have ovulated, your temperatures can increases </li></ul><ul><li>3.- Lower abdominal discomfort. </li></ul><ul><li>Some womens fell small pains. </li></ul>
  10. 13. <ul><li>Ovulation is controlled by the hypothalamus. </li></ul><ul><li>So Ovulation problems can result from the non function of the part of the hypothalamus and the glands that control ovulation or the non function of the ovaries. </li></ul>

It tells the ovary to make an egg </li></ul><ul><li>The follicle and egg start to develop . This gives a signal to the ovary telling it to make oestrogen. </li></ul>
