  3. 3. <ul><li>For many centuries the books, and the documents, on paper, had been the </li></ul><ul><li>knowledge containers. </li></ul><ul><li>Both of them had been as a CLOSED BOOK. </li></ul>

  9. 11. <ul><li>They had incorporated new technologies. </li></ul><ul><li>But the traditional libraries are too much TRADITIONAL. </li></ul><ul><li>Because of the Computers and Internet development in the last years . </li></ul>
  10. 12. <ul><li>THE TIMES ARE CHANGING: </li></ul><ul><li>Libraries and Librarians </li></ul><ul><li>MUST CHANGE TOO </li></ul>
  11. 13. <ul><li>Be accessible = using Internet </li></ul><ul><li>Be simple and easy to use = like Google </li></ul><ul><li>Be opened and alow the possiblity of interaction = Libraries 2.0 and 3.0 </li></ul>
  12. 14. <ul><li>The Digital Libraries </li></ul><ul><li>CAN MAKE REAL A NEW LIBRARY AGE </li></ul><ul><li>The same level: WWW </li></ul><ul><li>The same opportunities than Google </li></ul><ul><li>The same powerful tools </li></ul>
