IDENTIFYING THE DANGERS AFFECTING THIS UMMAHIDENTIFYING THE DANGERS AFFECTING THIS UMMAH All Rights Reserved © Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail (2016))  Viewed from this economic perspective, the whole Muslim world is in fact undergoing a great trial and tribulation economically.  Although Islam has its own teachings and system regarding economics, most Muslim countries do no follow it but had succumbed to the dominant secular economic system which follows Western imperialism.  When the global monetary paper currency system shifted from a purely ‘gold-backed system’ to ‘oil-backed US Dollar’ – Muslim countries were targeted for domination and exploitation for its wealth and continued to be destabilized through military occupation, various proxy wars, ruled by puppet dictators or regime and instigation towards anarchy.
  18. 18. “And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patiently persevering (SWOBIREEN)” (Qur’an: Baqorah:2: 155) All Rights Reserved © Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail (2016)) IDENTIFYING THE DANGERS AFFECTING THIS UMMAHIDENTIFYING THE DANGERS AFFECTING THIS UMMAH
