  3. 4. <ul><li>11 posts. 9 comments. </li></ul><ul><li>3 page views on 11/23, which was the biggest amount in one day, and I posted MLA on that day. </li></ul><ul><li>The post of “on the road” got the most views, because I put many pictures on it. </li></ul>

  5. 6. Video <ul><li>If you are finding a job in an IT company, you need to suit up; </li></ul>if you want a design company has interests on you, you should make the video creative; if you want to be a teacher, maybe you can show your kindness.
  6. 7. To be a blogger <ul><li>I will keep up this blog. </li></ul><ul><li>I have a blog in China, but the internet is too slow to post. As a result, I decide to keep up this blog as a personal journal. </li></ul><ul><li>Blogging strategy: Update regularly, interesting contents, more photos, to know my readers, and post a status on Facebook and Twitter. </li></ul>

Facebook <ul><li>For me, FB was a place to share life with friends before I took Social Media Marketing. </li></ul><ul><li>I opened a new account for this course, and I have 231 friends now. </li></ul><ul><li>Now, I am using Facebook to build personal reputation by posting not only happiness and complains about myself but also opinions on the news or books. </li></ul>
  8. 11. Twitter <ul><li>I use Twitter to follow the news. </li></ul><ul><li>I am following @USC Annenberg, @ UCR athletes, @CNN, @NBC news, @NatGeoChannel, etc. </li></ul>
  9. 13. <ul><li>What are your perceived strengths and weaknesses of Twitter? </li></ul><ul><li>The speed of spreading news is rapid. </li></ul><ul><li>If the information is positive, it is good to see that people are praising about your products; if the tweets are negative feedbacks, they are hard to control. </li></ul>
  10. 14. Linkedin <ul><li>I did not use Linkedin before, and I am still not familiar with this tool to build my personal brand. </li></ul><ul><li>I joined social media marketing group, and it sends me Emails to discuss topics related with social media marketing. </li></ul><ul><li>After the class, I should use Linkedin more frequently in order to build my reputation through a professional social media tool. </li></ul>
  11. 15. Groupon <ul><li>Although the deals are good, the process of ordering takes me lots of time. </li></ul>
  12. 16. Take-aways <ul><li>Every tiny tweet, post, or sharing a link will be a part of building my brand, and it has influence on how others think about me. </li></ul><ul><li>In business field, this leverage is even more important for promoting the products; moreover, through social media, it is easier to get the feedbacks from customers. </li></ul>Thank you !
