  75. 75. SIP協議簡介是IETF於1999年3月所制定的通信協定 (RFC2543 通訊啟動協定),其架構基本上與 H.323類似,每一個SIP Client都有進行呼叫的能 力。SIP 在網路架構下的協定標準,透過Gateway 達成與傳統 PSTN 互通的目的,完成簡單的網 路電話架構。由於SIP具有Client-Server 的架構, 可利用 HTTP 既有的封包資訊,而H.323封包必 須保留不少的傳輸訊息,所以SIP適用於廣域網 路的傳輸架構。 76
