Zaizi Alfresco Solution: Semantic (Re-) Search Tool

Zaizi's winning proposal presented at the J. boye conference in Aarhus, Denmark.

Zaizi submitted a proposal to build a semantic research tool in Alfresco ECM as part of the IKS Semantic UX Contest.

The Zaizi search tool will provide a number of searching techniques across the whole repository. Although these are described separately the search tool will combine different types of search within the same user interface and allow users to switch between different methods and views of the assets. Importantly, users should be able to navigate through the assets and be provided with different avenues of investigation. They should also be able to change criteria and filters as they go with an emphasis on exploration. The wire frame in the next section is an example to illustrate particular search approaches.
