Revoution
• It is not between the government and the
governed, it is about the colonized and the
colonizers.
• Change the “Ang dapat mabatid ng mga
tagalog” to “Ang dapat mabatid ng mga
Pilipino”

9. •One does not necessarily need to achieve proper
education to be able to be considered an intellectual.
•To be educated means to have a critical mind, to be
able to logically reason out, to be highly informed about
important matters in life, and to be able to stand up for
his right, among other things.
•So even though you have attained all the possible
degrees that schooling has to offer, that doesn’t
guarantee that you are more intelligent to does who
have not.

a plebeian but was considered an ilustrado based on his
wisdom and ability to lead the Katipunan members
effectively.
•If the initial membership of the Katipunan is ilustrado, it
is difficult to percieve how it can be viewed as an
illustration of a “history from below”.
•The initial Katipunan membership was middle class or
even lower middle class, it illustrates a “history from the
middle”.
