Why Write A Blog

 1. 1. Building a website or blog.

This presentation will show you how to build a website or a blog.

Blogging, if you want to get your blog noticed and make it popular, isn’t something that you can do easily. Sure you can go and make a website on MySpace and it’ll be popular there but the average MySpace website get’s 30+ hits a day. Now if you go to a website like Wordpress.com (I‘ll cover more on that later) and build a website then you’re going to have it a little harder. You’ll have to go around and post on websites so that people can know about your website and know that you know what your talking about. This presentation created by: www.myipc.wordpress.com
 2. 2. Why do we bloggers sit four hours and hours on end every week to write something that no one will ever read? This presentation created by: www.myipc.wordpress.com
 3. 3. About me.

My name is Zachary, I’m a 13 year-old boy living in Florida. You wont find ME in a Google search, just my name. I like blogging and shooting off rockets. I do a lot of stuff on my computer. That about sums me up. Oh yeah, In the 13 years of my life I’ve lived in Hawaii (More than one house there), North Carolina (More than one house there too), Ohio (Two houses there), Minnesota (Two houses there) and now Florida (One house here). As you can see I’ve moved around a lot.

This presentation created by: www.myipc.wordpress.com
 4. 4. Why I write a blog.

I write the blog iPC. (You can visit my website Here ). I write iPC because I really enjoy using computers and I think everyone should to. I never thought of how computer illiterate some people are, I know how to brighten and darken a screen, boot Ubuntu off of a CD, build a website in ten minuets, submit my website to Google – all these things and more some people don’t know how to do. I write a blog in the hopes that those people will come to it and learn what they didn’t know.

This presentation created by: www.myipc.wordpress.com

And the PC is the opposite of the Mac so in the name being iPC it’s like forcing two different worlds to collide.

What you want to do is decide on a name that will catch peoples attention and is easy to remember such as my website name (Which is copyrightd) iPC. Three letters, that’s it.

This presentation created by: www.myipc.wordpress.com
