Do teams lose their esprit de corps when scaling agile?

When scaling agile we struggle with questions like "do we scale collective ownership across teams or have cross-functional teams that are still specialized?", "do we aim for t-shaped teams or just t-shaped people?". Besides being hard, scaling collective ownership requires a different look at how to achieve Esprit de Corps that is an important motivational aspect.
