  2. 2. Self Esteem <ul><li>Self esteem is the way you see yourself whether it is positive or negative </li></ul>
  3. 3. Activity Rules <ul><li>3 at a time everyone will come up to the Sally doll </li></ul><ul><li>Say something negative to the doll and tear a piece of sally off of her </li></ul><ul><li>Save the piece that you tear because you will be doing something with it later </li></ul>

How To Your Build Self Esteem <ul><li>Make positive “I” statements </li></ul><ul><li>Know that if someone says something negative about you they are only trying to make you feel bad and they don’t feel as good about them selves </li></ul><ul><li>Choose your company wisely. This means avoid negative people. </li></ul><ul><li>Be Active. Play sports. Find new hobbies. </li></ul><ul><li>Try new things. We call this T.N.T. </li></ul><ul><li>The most important thing of all is LOVE YOUR SELF </li></ul>
  5. 5. Self Image <ul><li>Self Image is how you see yourself. </li></ul><ul><li>Who we think we are. </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>How you see yourself is very important because this will affect your behavior, your thinking, and how you relate to other people responses to you either positively or negatively according to how confident you are. JUST BE YOU!!! </li></ul>
  7. 7. <ul><li>How we think of ourselves is determined by what others have said </li></ul><ul><li>Parents play a BIG role in this part but so do other kids. </li></ul>
  8. 8. <ul><li>Now for the second part of our activity, you will go up three at a time up to Sally again and tape the piece you tore off of her back on but saying something positive about her this time. </li></ul>
  9. 9. <ul><li>This activity showed you that even if you say something positive about someone after you’ve said something negative you still leave scars meaning that that person will always have that negative thought in the back of their heads. </li></ul>
