8. 8. Leadership
Vision
A true Leader has a strong vision. A Leader can see beyond the horizon. A leader sees the things which is invisible to other’s. It’s not necessary that the vision has to be grand & large but a leader simply sees the future before anybody else could see it.
9. 9. Leadership
Courage
A leader has immense courage to challenge the existing system for the betterment of organization, society or Nation. Once a leader decide on a goal, he or she never rests till the goal is achieved irrespective of the obstacle faced on the way. Great Indian revolutionary Leader Chandrasekhar Ajad sacrificed his life but never for a second surrender his idea of free India.
10. 10. Leadership
Nelson Mandela spent several years in solitary confinement but kept intact his idea of racial free Africa.
The great Indian King Maharana Pratap fought The mogul king Akbar whole of his life spent in jungles eating grass but never compromised on the idea of freedom.
11. 11. Leadership
Strong sense of justice
Great leader possess a very strong sense of justice.
The famous ancient Persian king Nowsherwan once asked his minister to destroy the wall of his fort which was constructed on his orders. To extend the wall of Nowsherwan’s fort his ministers demolished a hutment of an old lady which was obstructing the wall. When king Nowsherwan comes to know about this he immediately ordered to demolish the fort wall & rebuilt the old lady’s hutment exactly on the same place where it was.
12. 12. Leadership
Truthfulness
If a leader does not follow the path of truth, he or she can never be a successful leader. Truth is one element which is the sole factor in establishing a leader as an authentic one. Mahatma Gandhi was one leader who practices what he preached. He was the only leader who commanded respect from every Indian because of his great sense of truthfulness.
With the help of communication a leader transport his or her ideas to the followers. Communication is an act of engagement of two parties. Communication does not mean the leader has to be an excellent orator. A good leader can communicate his or her ideology through eye contact , physical contact.
14. 14. Leadership
Empathy
A leader who does not show empathy will ultimately loose his effect on there followers. Empathy is one & only feeling which makes a emotional bond between a leader & his or her followers. How a leader can solve a problem if he or she does not identify himself or herself with the problem faced by there followers.
15. 15. Leadership
Do not wait for any big moment or opportunity to make you a leader. Leadership is an evolution. It’s true sometimes situation transforms an ordinary person into a leader. There are several small opportunities waiting for you to be a leader. There are little leader hidden in each of us but we do not make efforts to recognize it.
