CHILDREN’S CUP
After reviewing your application and recommendations, we are happy to give you permission to go ahead with
fund raising for your venture into missions.

Ben Rodgers, Africa Director for Children’s Cup, will advise you a monthly budget and cash-on-hand require-
ments.

When these amounts have been achieved, evidenced by either cash-on-hand or signed pledges, your permission
to go to the field will be given.

Monthly pledge forms are included with this letter. Your sponsors will need to sign the form, which you then
submit to this office for processing. We will issue the sponsor a certificate with your photo, confirming their
promise to support your work.

Other donations made on your behalf, which are sent to this office, will be placed in your personal account.
If you receive donations personally, you can forward them to June. Every donor will receive a tax-deductible
receipt.

For other ways to make regular donations, i.e. automatic bank withdrawals, credit card, see the enclosed infor-
mation from June.

If you already have your support in hand, we will need proof of sponsorship or your written assurance that the
funds are in your bank.

As a general rule, costs increase almost monthly overseas. You don’t want to get on the field and find your
income failing. So we highly recommend that you send out monthly correspondence to your donors. Email, a
snail-mail post card with a cool African stamp, or a letter you have written but printed and mailed in the USA
by someone who will be happy to take care of your mailing for you—all are good ways to keep your sponsors
aware of the great work you are doing with the funds they provide as well as assure their continued support of
your work.

Any way at all that we can be of assistance, please let us know.

Your life is about to change forever…

Blessings!

                                 Ways to Make a Donation

Receipts are sent out within a few days of receiving the dona-
tion. Following are the ways your donors can send their gifts
to your missions account:

ON-LINE BANKING
You can do an on-line check through your bank. Most banks
have an area for you to type in the name of the missionary for
whom you are designating your donation. Usually it is an area
marked “memo,” “account number,” or “payment.” Be sure
your name is included as the donor!

CHECK
Make out checks to CHILDREN’S CUP, write in the memo section
who the gift is directed to, and send it to the USA office (ad-
dress below). Included with your receipt will be an envelope for
your next donation.

CREDIT CARD
This can be done by going online at www.childrenscup.org to
make a donation, or we can do it for you each month if you
prefer.
