A progressive Democrat and founder of the nonprofit Georgia Center for Children and Education Inc., Rev. Terence Dicks of Augusta, GA fights for human dignity, civil rights, strongly supporting worker's rights often through union representation, safe workplace conditions, worldwide Fair Trade in all industries across the planet to prevent horrific treatment of workers and extremely low pay plus the decent, fair and dignified treatment of all humans, the environment and wildlife. Democrats need to return to their traditional progressive MLK-era values. Mr. Dicks is Southern Regional organizer and the state of Georgia Coordinator (2008-present) for the Progressive Democrats of America (PDA).
