Vagina infection: What is vagina infection or vagina yeast infection

 1. 1. Vagina infection A to Z
 2. 2.

The vagina is the outer part of the female reproductive system. It is the part that leads to the inner parts of the female reproductive system like the uterus and fallopian tube. The vagina is a very delicate part in females. It houses two main microorganisms which are the yeasts and free living bacteria

 3. 3.

bacteria are part of the vagina and cannot be totally eradicated. They are harmless in normal states and exist in the vagina in very minute quantities. They are free living organisms and at the same time are opportunistic organisms and will multiply leading to an infection due to the abnormal number. This results in two main types of infections based Both yeasts and free living on symptoms. They can come as itching or burning sensations.

 4. 4.

The causes of vagina infections are either due to yeasts, bacteria infections or both. This infection could come as a result of different factors like the abuse of antiseptics, of tight clothes or sharing of toilets

 5. 5.

A lot of ladies are fond of taking antibiotics without prescription. Antibiotics are taken for the slightest disease that could heal on its own like coughs even when the disease is not caused by bacteria. This reduces the number of bacteria from time to time depending on the frequency of antibiotic intake. As a result, the normal coexistence of both bacteria and yeast is distorted. The number of bacteria decreases while that of yeast is favored. This leads to yeasts proliferation causing the common infection which is known as candidiasis or vaginal thrush.

 6. 6.

Abuse of liquid antiseptics like those which are frequently used to wash the vaginal area with the aim of preventing infections: but in many cases cause harm due to the concentration of these same antiseptics.

 7. 7.

Another frequent cause of the infection is because some ladies share toilets which are already infected and is a media for spreading the infection of an infected lady. Germs are found in all toilets no matter the amount of disinfectants used. The only reason infections do not resolve is the way the toilets are used and washed. A good number of ladies drop directly in the middle of the toilet.

 8. 8.

This usually results in a splash back of water containing some of these germs. A good number of the germs thrive well in the vagina due to conducive temperature, nutrients and above all moisture. They proliferate and cause either pains, or both. Mixed infection is called vaginitis due to the presence of both pathogenic yeasts and bacteria while that of itching alone is caused by yeast and is called vaginal thrush.

 9. 9.

Nylon pant is another culprit of the infection as they also cause the vaginal area to be wet constantly. Tight cloths fit well enough to hinder movement leading to both damp area and constant friction. This also favors vaginal infection

 10. 10.

The best treatment on earth for the infection is the infection is to identify the cause of infection or causes of infection and avoid them. Then you can use modern drugs like the herbal or prescription drugs. A lot of claims are every where for the cure of different degree of yeast infections but a lot of this ladies come down with the infection after some time.
