  2. 2. Deer <ul><li>A buck is about 38 inches tall. </li></ul><ul><li>Each year a male deer grows new antlers. </li></ul><ul><li>Deer favorite food is grass, berries, acorns and mushrooms. </li></ul><ul><li>A male deer is called a buck. </li></ul><ul><li>A female deer is called a doe. </li></ul>

Essential Questions <ul><li>How do deer effect people? </li></ul><ul><li>Deer effect people by sometimes causing accidents. </li></ul><ul><li>What would it be like without deer? </li></ul><ul><li>Without deer we wouldn’t have anything to hunt. </li></ul><ul><li>Why do they live? </li></ul><ul><li>Deer live here because we have food. </li></ul>
