53. Students’ Response
I love using the iPads because it let us write
Chinese and learn new characters because you
could type a word and then find out 10 more by
just looking at the other ones.
Yeah! I really enjoyed using the iPad in class! I
really liked how you could type in the pinyin,
then have to search and select the correct
character that you are looking for. I'm going to
get the Chinese keyboard on my iPod touch!
Connecting with real life…

54. Students’ Response
Working with the iPads was really fun yesterday!
I liked Socrative and how we could be quizzed by
typing, and getting our results in seconds!
Popplet was very fun, and I LOVED play with it
and typing. I would love to do this again!!! >:D
I thought that this app was a fun and creative
way to apply what we are learning into a real life
situation.
This is what we teacher really want!!
ACTFL 2012 P 54
55. Students’ response It really counts!
I thought story-kit was really cool because we got to
practice speaking and typing. Story-kit was very fun
and the books turned out great! I hope we will be
able to do it again.
I thought that this app was a fun and creative way to

I thought using story kit to create a book in Chinese
was very fun. We got to use all of our knowledge and
showcase it in a cool way. Thanks for letting us use
the ipads and for posting my story here on the blog!
