  2. 2.  It is the branch of Preventive medicine which deals with the clinical and preventive medical requirements of the individual in atmospheric flight and space . A physician qualified in Aereospace medicine is know as a FLIGHT SURGEON

  4. 4.  Aero Medical Institute at PAF Base Masroor Karachi is the only institute in Pakistan which imparts training in the field of Aviation and Space Medicine . Doctors are selected from the Armed Forces to undergo three months academic training followed by nine months on job training to become eligible for the final exams .
  5. 5.  He takes care of the aviator … a normal individual who works in an abnormal environment . He is the natural interface between the practice of medicine , the science of safety and the profession of aviation . Flight Surgeons practice preventive medicine first and foremost.
