Oh wow. I know this will sound crazy because you are not really enjoying your life right now, but your parents are being very good parents. Sure, it seems extreme, but when you grow up, you are going to be the most mature person ever. You're going to thank them for raising you like this.
You are literally working for your own money and paying for your things. It's really great practice for the future! Because once you move out and start living on your own, you are going have to work really hard for money, pay your own bills and you're going to resort to saving.
I know this sounds like a parent lecture now but try to see it in their view. Because you are so used to doing these things at a young age, you're going to have good self-control and organization skills.
If you think positively, when you grow older, your friends who have been babied by their parents are going to be all over the place. They are getting thrown in the deep end and won't have any idea what to do. They will always be dependent on someone else.
YOU, however, are used to this, so you aren't thrown in the deep end because your parents have taught you well and you can now keep up with the tough life of a young adult. You are going to be one independent woman which you should be so happy about!
When you are trying to find a job, people will see that you can do everything by yourself which will be quite impressive.
Okay, understand that it's really hard for you now. There are just so many things that you want, but be happy with what you have now. Life's not just about the materials.
You have a phone.. so use it to talk to friends. Some days, save up and spoil yourself with a little something. Think positive and appreciate what you have and the great love and discipline from your parents.
