  5. 5. V-BELT The speed of the drill can be adjusted by moving the belt on the pulley to a larger or smaller diameter. Moving the belt up will make the drill rotate faster. Moving the belt down will make the drill rotate slower. n1 d2 n1=constant n2= d1The greater the torque,the more the belt tightens itself in the pulley,the less drag.
