ISO 9001ISO 9001 is a standard that focuses on a few basic principles within qualitymanagement and is a standard that firm’s have the possibililty to becertified against.By following through with the processes of being certified, certainadvantageous possibilities will occur for the firm. It does not state requirements for environmental performance, but maps out a framework that a company or organization can follow to set up an effective environmental management system. It can be used by any organization regardless of its activity or sector.
