the requirements.
iPad: iCould requires iOS 5 on iPad, iPad 2, the new iPad(many people named it as iPad 3)
Mac: Mac runs on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion or the later
PC: PC runs on Windows Vista or Windows 7 (Outlook 2007 or 2010 or an up-to-date browser is
required for accessing email, contacts, and calendars).
If you iPad and Mac or PC can meet the requirements, then follow the steps below to use iCould to
transfer files to iPad. If not, please update the operating system of your iPad and computer.
Step 1. Enable iCloud on iPad. Tap the Settings icon on your iPad and navigate to iCould. From here
slide the On/Off switches to enable individual iCloud services. You can choose what kind of files to sync.
To enable automatic downloads for your music, apps, and books, tap the Settings icon on the Home
screen and select Store. And here, you are able to select the files that you need to download to your iPad.
2. Step 2. Turn on iCloud on Mac or Windows.
On Mac, tap the Apple icon at the top left of your screen, navigate to System preference and select
iCloud. Enter your Apple ID for iCloud and select the iCloud services. To transfer photos, open
iPhoto on your Mac and click the Photo Stream icon on the very left and turn on Photo Stream
option. To enable automatic downloads for your music, apps and books, open iTunes and select
Preferences. From there under the Store tab, select Music, Apps and Books.
3. On Windows PC, you should download and install iCloud Control Panel. From the Start menu,
select Control Panel>Network and Internet>iCould and enter your Apple ID. To enable automatic
download files to your iPad, open iTunes>Edit>Preferences>Store and select the files to download.
Step 3. Open your iPad to sync the files. For example, after you launch iBooks for iPad, it will ask you
to sync your purchased books.
iCloud is only capable of tranferring these items you’ve bought from Apple online store. For these
downloaded files from the Internet, you should use Dropbox to transfer them to your new iPad.
