surveyed species of bird may lose more than half of their
current geographical range across the three climate change
There has been speculation regarding the devastation of
global warming and how it is likely to be the cause of the
predicted downfall of the north-American bird species. The
aggressive expansion of agriculture has begun to swipe the
natural habitats away from the birds’ wings.

The exact figure of birds under threat from this
human-induced climate change has reached a
shocking 341. Including iconic breeds such as the
Bald Eagle, Baltimore Oriole and Brown Pelican. By
2050, these figures are predicted to increase
dramatically from 50-100%.
Although there are some species of bird that are
more apt than others in adapting to these shifting
climate changes, the sheer scale of fear associated
with losing such a mass of fowl should be a sobering
enough wake-up call to society’s carbon footprint.
