  1. 1. Illustrated icon ideas— include books, candles, pillows, etc.? THE PENNINGTON COLLECTION Vera Bradley in corner? CREATE GRID PATTERN ON BACK WALL WITH PAINT AND MITERED MOULDING AS FRAMING (use paneling in windows as guide). USE PENNINGTON COLLECTION NAME/ FONT TO IDENTIFY STORE, EMPHASIZE “COLLECTION”. FRAMED SQUARES CAN CONTAIN MERCHANDISE (ART, SHOES) OR LINE ART TO INDICATE CATEGORIES.
  2. 2. Move fixtures away from window. Regroup/relocate matching white case goods. How might we use this door surface differently? Create window seats/benches for shoes with stock underneath?
  3. 3. Replace slat wall pegs with arms and waterfall accessories for greater capacity. Give white fence a fresh coat of paint, remove floral. Possible to replace black panels with panels painted to match blue header in adjacent space?
  4. 4. Reassign this wall space to either personal care (fragrance, soap) or jewelry/accessories (be careful re: visible backs on neck forms in mirror. . . )
  5. 5. For consideration: If Vera moves to rear corner, will probably need to be 2 across, 1 down in order to clear window on side wall. Local goods (M22) are strong sellers, esp. during summer tourist season. Relocate “staples”—gift wraps, card, etc.—to yellow room? Desire for area to display/test games and puzzles. Optimize display methods for artwork. Add forms w/ stands for windows/in-store to better display RTW. Opportunities for Shop Columbia partition method? Upgrade cashwrap counter/face panels? Create What is construction of sliding door? Can it be shelved?feature platform. Optimize interior surface of this door. Add opaque signage with store hours, etc. in panes, back with metal inserts for magnet merchandising. Condition of wall @ current VB location? Create window seats/benches (moveable) which can accommodate shoebox storage underneath.
  6. 6. Minimize use of merchandise in windows where unfinished backs of products are visible. Center benches on windows. Repurpose this door with signage on exterior, fixturing on interior.
