  3. 3. <ul><li>Students will have created at least 6 sprites </li></ul><ul><li>Most students will have created all their sprites </li></ul><ul><li>Some students will have created sprites to allow animation </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>Game Maker is Java based an Object oriented programming language </li></ul><ul><li>Objects in this can do certain things based on what you tell them to do. </li></ul><ul><li>An object for instance can move left and right, if you tell it to. </li></ul><ul><li>You cannot see an object without a sprite. </li></ul>
  5. 5. <ul><li>Sprites are an image that is used to make an object visible. </li></ul><ul><li>For example your main character is an object that you can only see if a sprite is linked to it. </li></ul><ul><li>Without a sprite you couldn’t play your game as you wouldn’t know where you are and what you are on the map. </li></ul>

  7. 7. <ul><li>Using Macromedia Fireworks you need to create your sprites for ALL the things in your game. </li></ul><ul><li>Each Sprite should be 32 Pixels wide by 32 Pixels high </li></ul>
