Is All I Am All I Ever Will Be

  1. 1. I feel this is one of the biggest self-reflection questions people ask themselves when they face a transition in life. It could be career, relationships or any other major change. It is a point where everything seems to be going south and you are now are faced with the question: Is All I am All I Ever Will Be? To answer that question is easy. If all you do is everything you have always done then YES you will not be anything more than you already are. That is the honest truth. If you only know today what you knew yesterday tomorrow has all ready happened because nothing will change. You didn’t grow as a person and therefore your life stays the same. You need to be in a constant state of personal growth in order to keep progressing in life and keep up with the changes you face. It is easy to keep up your personal development. Even if you take 15 minutes a night you can keep your personal growth alive. If you are not growing you are dying. Inner Beliefs Your inner belief about what you are capable of is what will define where you go in life. You may want to believe life is what it is because of all the outside factors in your life but they don’t. Your job, family, career, physical ability, etc. do not make you who you are either. Whatever you think about most of the time is what you become. This has been proven time and time again and you need to take that statement seriously. If you grew up poor do you believe you will always be poor? Most likely you do because you cannot see what is possible due to being repeatedly exposed to a “poor” mentality. Just because you grew up poor or lived in a poor neighborhood does not mean that is what you are destined to be. If, as a woman, you feel women are inferior to men then you will always allow men to surpass you on promotions and most likely end up with a controlling husband. You may think you are deserving of the promotion or a loving husband but with your beliefs will say provide you otherwise. YouAre Predestined To Be….Nothing That may not sound right the first time you read it. This doesn’t mean you are destined to be nothing in life. It means you are capable of having a blank slate in life and starting over whenever you want. You were not meant to be anything more than you are willing to create. We do not have a predestined future like so many believe. Successful people create their future. There are a lot of success stories about people rising out of poverty, abusive situations, physical handicaps and countless other horrible scenarios. So why can’t you?
  2. 2. They saw and believed there was another way to live life. That is it. That is why you can have two people grow up in the same type of situation and choose two completely different paths in life. Same external influences with two different internal choices made. This is why domestic violence is such a vicious cycle that is hard to break. There is a high percentage of people who choose to be in abusive relationships if they were exposed to abuse. When you grow up in an abusive family you still have a choice as to whether you become an abuser or not. You have the choice to be whatever you want to be. Take Charge The way to ensure you will not always be what you have always been is a commitment to your personal development. It doesn’t take long before you will start to really understand what it is you need to focus on in order to create the change you want. Nothing is hopeless and you are not destined to be anything but what you want to be. There is always a way to find a path to personal success but you won’t see it if you don’t cut down some of the dead trees obscuring your vision. Those dead trees are your limiting self-beliefs and they need to go. Believe in yourself and the world in turn will believe in you back and help you have the life you want. The choice is yours to make. Live the life of your dreams or not. No one can choose for you.
