  5. 5. 5 TU Delft and the Dutch Language • Most bachelor programmes are in Dutch, 3 in English • All Master programmes are in English • 60% of our PhDs are international
  6. 6. 6 OpenCourseWare • For OCW we use the language that the course is offered in. • So mostly it means Dutch for Bachelors and English for Masters and moocs.
  7. 7. 7 MOOC • Because of global reach decided to offer them in English. • Some courses have subtitles in additional languages • We offer our MOOCs on other platforms

  9. 9. 9 MOOCs in Arabic • MOOC Solar Energy is offered in Arabic on EdRaak platform • We use a “surrogate” professor who will guide the students through the course and will add extra content. • “Surrogate” prof is selected by us and is an former PhD student of the real professor
