for close to twenty years. She’s a longstanding member of the American Pain
Society and its Pediatric Pain subcommittee, the International Association for
the Study of Pain and The American Academy of Pain Management. Cahill has
an extensive expertise in all areas of pain management, including but not
limited to cancer, pediatric and burn pain. Cahill, an Advanced Registered
Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist in Pain Management, is self-
employed as a Pain Management Consultant and is a member of the Clinical
Faculty of the University of South Florida College of Nursing. Cahill is also
active in the area of headache management and has been both clinical trial
coordinator and co-investigator in numerous nation-wide pharmacological
studies. Cahill also specializes in the development of paradigms for the
evaluation of outcomes related to Pain & Headache Management Programs.
