School of Global and Professional Program<br />School of Global and Professional Programs<br />Undergraduate Programs<br />Bachelor Degree ProgramsAdult students 22 and over may major in any of the traditional majors offered at Marist&apos;s main campus in Poughkeepsie, NY. <br />Bachelor&apos;s Degrees in Florence, ItalyMarist College proudly announces the launch of a Bachelor&apos;s Degree Program in partnership with the Scuola Lorenzo de&apos; Medici in Florence, Italy. <br />Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science Degree Completion ProgramsStudents in the Bachelors&apos; Degree Completion Programs can tailor their degrees in either an onground or, beginning Fall 2009, fully online format.  Portable and flexible.<br />Organizational Leadership & CommunicationThe Organizational Leadership and Communication (OLC) program at Marist College is an accelerated Bachelor of Science degree completion program which requires a minimum of 48 previously earned college credits. Students complete the program in a cohort-based format meeting once per week for two years. <br />Bachelor of Science in Social Work Degree Completion ProgramAccredited by the Council on Social Work Education the graduates of this Program are prepared for entry level social work practice and/or graduate school. <br />Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Degree Completion ProgramThis two year, cohort-based program is designed for students with two years of prior undergraduate study who are looking for a way to complete their degree in an accelerated format but still be able to hold onto their job and way of life. <br />Paralegal CertificateThe Marist Paralegal Certificate program is designed to ensure that you have a solid liberal arts foundation, plus the specialized knowledge you need to work as a paralegal. <br />

School of Global and Professional Program<br />This is a special online course for adults students features the Fall II course Introduction to Global Issues, GBST 103L74, with a one week excursion to ROME, ITALY.The course provides adult students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in Roman culture, while exploring the global business environment. School of Global and Professional Program<br />SOCIETY OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (SHRM)<br />The local Chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in cooperation with Marist College offer a 36-hour professional development program to help prepare human resource professionals for the national examination for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR) accreditation. (Examination requirements are 1-4 years of work experience) Upon course completion you will receive a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Marist College and a certificate from the Society of Human Resource Management and 3.6 CEU&apos;s.<br />Human resource managers help organizations meet strategic goals by attracting and retaining employees. They oversee the people side of the business employee benefits, career development and training, hiring, labor relations.
