Bench Marking

  1. 1. BenchMarking-1 Definition • Standard, or a set of standards, used as a point of reference for evaluating performance or level of quality. • Benchmarks may be drawn from a firm's own experience, from the experience of other firms in the industry, or from legal requirements such as environmental regulations.
  2. 2. In Order to improve the performance of a project - using the management lessons learnt from projects with better performance. Benchmarking is an efficient tool which makes significant improvement to performance by following better ones. BenchMarking-2
