  1. Comenius – Move to Improve Your Body and Mind Poland 19th -23rd June 2013 – Summary Wednesday 19th June Arrival of Delegates, welcomed by our Polish hosts. Thursday 20th June All delegates visited Szkoła Podstawowa nr 5 w Ełku, where we met the staff and children of the school. The children of the school assisted in showing us around and we watched a school annual celebration involving interclass competition. Following a traditional lunch in the school canteen, we had our first project meeting. The Polish delegates welcomed us to their school and provided a brief presentation on the Polish school system. Each partner country then delivered a presentation of the work relating to choosing a sport/game which they play to enable partner schools to try it out. Project work and gifts were shared amongst partner countries. All delegates then walked along the promenade to another school building and were welcomed by the children and staff where the children performed a dance for us. A coordinator meeting was held in the Centre for Ecological Education where the dates for the mobility visit to England were confirmed – 13th -17th November 2013. The next activities and deadlines for work were discussed. It was agreed that each partner country would choose 1 game/sport to try from each of the partner schools with video/photography evidence and the children’s evaluation will be brought to England, along with the presentations of Local/National heros. It was agreed that 2 healthy recipes from each school would be emailed with photos from each country to Brian by 1st November 2013. The progress reports which are to be completed at the end of each year by all delegates, were different from the differing national agencies - it was decided that all schools would complete them independently. Gustavo collected in the coordinators surveys evaluating the first year of the project. A discussion followed, relating to communication between children and it was decided that any arrangements for class/individual communication, staff would set up as they chose. All delegates then went on pedalos on Elk Lake followed by a meal at Motyla Sen Restaurant. Friday 21st June All delegates visited Szkoła Podstawowa nr 5 w Ełku where the partners could visit a class of their choosing to watch and participate in a variety of lessons followed by a demonstration of the local Polish game of Kwadrant. Several delegates participated. A project meeting was held where the remaining partners delivered their presentations of project work, followed by a tour to the outdoor PE area of the

A coordinators meeting was held where it was discussed that an additional day may be required in the Bulgarian mobility in order to write the final report. All coordinators will check with their headteachers/national agencies to determine if this is possible. Numbers of delegates were discussed for the mobility to England. A formal dinner for all delegates was held at the Janus restaurant.
