  1. 1. Weekly News from WCUMC-11/04/2012Sharing the transforming love of Jesus, across the street and around the world. "Thanks-Living People"On Sunday, Pastor Rick began a new sermon series, "Thanksgiving: Morethan a Holiday - but a Way of Life". In the first message from this newseries, he shared that we are called to be "THANKS-LIVING" people. THANKS-LIVING is encompassed by joy-filled worship and praise. THANKS-LIVING proclaims that God is good and that all we have comes from Him. He is our provider. THANKS-LIVING proclaims that Gods love never ends. THANKS-LIVING proclaims that Gods faithfulness never ends.Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord withgladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD isGod. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, thesheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courtswith praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD isgood and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through allgenerations. Psalm 100
