  1. 1. Pipeline companies are currently not being heldresponsible for damages on people’s property andbusinessesThe controversy question is should they be heldaccountable/responsible since they are not taking theproper steps necessary to maintain their pipelinesPeople question whether they should be responsible, butthe laws are outdated and weakly enforcedThe government has many regulations on pipeline safetyalthough much isn’t done to keep people safe
  2. 2.  Pipelines make it easier to  Pipeline damages create transport mass amounts of destruction to private wells, oil to certain areas of the bodies of water, homes and country businesses Everything transported in  Laws are not updated and there these pipelines is sent to isn’t enough enforcement on storage facilities and current laws that protect people refineries so it can be used from damages to run our cars and heat  Thousands of gallons of gasoline our homes and businesses and oils can spill in a short period of time causing a very high amount of damage

  4. 4.  Peoples property can be permanently damaged Water ways can be destroyed Animal life will decrease
  5. 5.  Stronger laws and proper enforcement of the laws should be set in place Proper inspection can be done regularly to fix breaks or damages and better avoid spills
