Some great lessons on blogs, LinkedIn networking and social marketing from the great Jim Matorin. Three things to think about when talking about blogs. 1) Content: Very few Blogs these days have good content. 2) Thinking about their audience. Jim puts some great thought into what he calls "his tribes time". 3) Lastly, Engagement: The blog should have some sort of engagement strategy to continue building relationships. Discussion then leads into LinkedIn and how we see situational vs. sustainable networking. Even with the many social marketing tools available these days, networking remains a face to face concept.
