  4. 4. Classical Music <ul><li>C lassical Music is the melody of life, which creates rhythmic vibration and enter in the heart and soul of the human being and make feel the unimaginable peace and harmony. It effects as medicine to diseased western music. </li></ul>
  5. 5. The classical music is determined by the actual sound effect : Vocal (Each rhythm has some meaning.) + Instrumental (Each tune affects the heart beats)
  6. 6. Vocal <ul><li>The effectiveness of sound which exists into the neck in the form of SARGAM i.e. sa,re,ga, ma, pa, dha and ni, and the natural sound which affects and enter into the individual has its different pronunciation and rhythm. </li></ul>

  10. 10. Importance of classical music <ul><li>The importance of classical music can be considered as ambrosia of life. Without music it is too difficult to pass the life and when the music is in the form of classical, it creates the spirituality and makes life easy . </li></ul>
  11. 11. To understand the classical music better we should know: <ul><li>What message it wants to convey? </li></ul><ul><li>The classical music tales the story of truth of life. It is far away from the artificial life. The language of classical music is full of rhythmic vibration and it behaves like a true friend who feels our all emotions. </li></ul>
  12. 12. <ul><li>How is it pleasant ? </li></ul><ul><li>To get the pleasure of classical music one must listen it because when our mind get disturbed and we need to hear some one which is closed to our heart, it is none but classical music to sooth and console to mind. To understand classical music and to get more enjoyment one must have some knowledge of it. Also it is advisable to see the live shows of Indian Classical Music. </li></ul>
  13. 13. Classical music as a medicine <ul><li>The classical music works as a medicine to human beings better without any side effects. The medicine of classical music enters through the ear and makes chemical reactions into the mind and creates positive effects. </li></ul>

Researches Shows That : <ul><li>Through the classical music we can minimize the secretion of the Adrenal gland leading towards the removal of body ache. </li></ul><ul><li>The classical music activates Hypothalamus into the human mind which is beneficial to the human body. </li></ul><ul><li>It is also beneficial to the heart beats, breathing problems, removal of mental tension and blood pressure patients. </li></ul><ul><li>The pregnant lady and her child is benefited through the melody of classical music. </li></ul><ul><li>Through it, the pregnant lady gets the tension free delivery. </li></ul>

How to maintain the heritage of classical music: <ul><li>At least one child in the family must join the music class as an additional talent. </li></ul><ul><li>Accept classical music as a spiritual tradition of life. </li></ul><ul><li>One should know the spirituality of Indian classical music. </li></ul><ul><li>One should listen and understand the melody of classical music. </li></ul><ul><li>One should have passive participation in live shows based on classical music. </li></ul><ul><li>Respect the artists who are our heritage assets. </li></ul>

Cultural capital of India <ul><li>India is well known for its culture and the cultural capital is Varanasi which is situated at the bank of river Ganga in Uttar Pradesh The culture of Varanasi is the oldest and richest in world. In the words of Mark Twain “ Benaras is older than history, older than tradition, even older than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together.” There are some world famous events based on classical music is held in Varanasi. Some of which are Ganga Mahotsav, Dev Dipawali, Varuna Mahotsav, Sankat Mochan Dhrupad Mela etc have carved out a place for himself in the international market. By accepting this fact most of the foreigners who want to learn Indian classical music give first preference to Varanasi . </li></ul>Varanasi
