Unmerited Favor
Grace’s purpose for God is
choice. The choice is for
God to bestow His favor on
man, or not. God’s grace
is infinitely wise, holy, and
unchangeable.

4. Genesis 12:1-2
12 Now the LORD had said to
Abram:
“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
2 I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.

and moved when God
commanded him. God
bestowed His grace on Abram
when He chose him for a great
work.
