OBJECTIVE:• The main aim of the application is to read the EKG signals and display on the screen.• By using Radio Frequency technology data Communication takes place.• All the components are Low power and very small in size.
• The figure says that A patient with heavy load of ECG cables and lead wires.• Approximately 10-20 cables are connected to the patient.• We need GELs and Electrodes to measure.• Remove hair where the electrodes are placed.• In the case of Ag/AgCl electrodes the gels and adhesive can cause skin irritation, and chest straps can be difficult to fit, uncomfortable to wear and not always reliable.
Proposed System:•Wear this chronus watch and go to your work.•No wire connection required, Totally WIRELESS.• No need to place ELECTRODES and GELs.•No need to remove hair.•Sensor placed on the WRIST or ARM.• No skin irritation.
Sensors:• EPIC is an acronym of Electric Potential Integrated Circuit.• Ultra high input resistance, typically 20GΩ.• Dry-contact capacitive coupling.• Input capacitance as low as 15pF.• Lower -3dB point typically 200mHz.• Upper -3dB point typically 10kHz.• Operates with bipolar power supply from 2.4V to 4.0V.• Sensors supplied in a custom package with exposed pins for surface mount assembly.
