A common soup is caldo verde.                                                               *Olive oil is one of the bases of Portuguese cuisine both for cooking and flavoring meals. Garlic coriander and parsley is widely used.   * Portuguese dishes are made with rich, filling  and full flavored which are closely related to Mediterranean cuisine.  *Portugal is a seafaring nation with a well-developed fishing industry and this is reflected in the amount of fish and seafood that is eaten.  *Portugal has been fishing and trading cod since the 15th century

What are there chances this year <ul><li>- Brazil is not as heavily favored as they were in the fast years. </li></ul><ul><li>-In the past their style has been amazing forwards and midfielders who use tricks to score goals </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>-They have transformed their style to a more rough and rugged type of play </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>-Kaka leads this young Brazilian team who are without Ronaldinho (lots of disagreement to that choice) </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>-All that being said you can never count Brazil out of a soccer event. </li></ul>
