-Pilot landed on top of ridge and descended intounknown area-Near the edge of the wall he sent message withGPS location-He did not wait there and he did not send locationchange-He went up to the top of ridge (150 altitudemeters higher)

-Information about the way of marking GPSlocation is very important-Accuracy of location taked from the air is lower-Time to reach accident point is slow.
Planina Božca 29.08.2011-Information about crash near Stol with severeinjuries-Info about place of accident was changing (Božca,Hlek, Stol)-There was no contact with pilot-Helicopter had to search to find place of accident
-We were slower because of inaccurate accidentlocation. That is not good for an injured pilot.
Batognica – Srednji vrh 22.04.2011-Information about crash near Krn, pilot can sawvillage Krn-Informant is unreachable-No contact with pilot-Pilots that flyed in the air did not answer on ourquestions over radio-Location can be from Rdeči rob to Krn!!-No information about injuries
-We had a lot of trouble to find the accidentlocation-Do not descent down to unknown steep area-Pilot injured his ankle on descent. Hypothermiaoccured while waiting.
Krasji vrh 14.07.2010-Information about crash on Krasji vrh – SMS only-Not injured, descent was impossible, he asked forhelicopter-No contact with pilot. His friend landed close tohim.-Later his friend informed us about injuries
- severe injuries – a month of intensive care- we waited to much with helicopter activationbecause of inaccurated information-both pilots were transported in the valley withhelicopter-Terrestiral rescue in this area would be veryserious and longterm.
Jalovnik 07.04.2007-Information form Kobala about glider in the treesunder Jalovnik-No contact with pilot-No information about injuries
-Canopy was near of the 50m high wall-Helmet was under the wall-Searching for pilot in very steep terrain was notsuccessfull.-Pilot was found later at the bar in the valley.-He left all equipement on the accident locationand he did not informed anyone that he was safein the valley.
Kobala 21.05.2005-Two paragliders crashed, reserves were deployed-They landed safe in the trees 15 m high- One of pilot climbed down unsuccessfully.- He felt. He got severe spine injuries and internalbleeding
-Helicopter rescuing, pilot reached hospital in lastminute.-Second pilot waited on the tree. He was savedwithout injuries.-Is it sensible to climb down from high trees?
Godiča-Tolminska korita 21-22.05.2005-Group of pilots flew from Kobala to Volarje at4PM-The least experienced pilot in the gropu took offlast.-We got an information at 9 PM that he is missed.-He was seen last low under Kobala-There was no other information
-Late evening search in Godica valley wasunsuccessfull-Dark, heat, terrain was steep and dangerous,…
-Search was continued the next day – a lot ofrescuers, policemans, …-Two helicopters were activaqted- The all day searching- We put the notice on the local radio- In the afternoon we got an informationa aboutpilot in troubles above Tolminka river
-Pilot was found dead in the river-No rescue canopy deployed.-Searching for missed pilot without anyinformation
Kobala 21.04.2011 (3)-Pilot crashed on Kobala – ankle injury .-We informed medical rescue team in Tolmin
-While we were giving first aid, we saw the secondaccident-Pilot took off with half closed canopy andcrashed into the ground.-Head injury-helicopter was activated
-20 minutes later we observed new accident. Twopilots helped to take off an inexperienced pilot.-She took off without controlling her canopy andfelt form 20 m altitude to the road below start,-Severe injuries-She was transported with helicopter
-Spring thermic, wind, demanding conditions ontake off-Inexperienced pilots shouldnt take off in themiddle of a therimc day-Is it sensible to help an inexperienced pilot on takeoff in thermic day?- What about responsibility???
11.4.2009 Krn - Zagon-Pilot crashed in the west wall of Krn-Crash was seen by locals. Children made adrawing.-There was no other information.-Helicopter was activated.
-Pilot was uninjured.-All his equipement felt down the wall includingphone, radio, ...-He rested in the middle of the wall bearly dressed.-Ho would not survive the night.-He was seen only by the locals.

Advices-Save phone battery – do not call if it is not necessary-Even when there are no injuries, call 112. Say if yourwing has been left inthe area and indicate its colour. Recover your wing assoon as possible, andagain inform 112.-Use official radio frequency 147.800- If flying, clear the helicopter’sactivity area.- Recommended equipement: GPS, VHF radio, mobilephone
-Descent to the unkonwn area is notrecommended.-Down climbing form the high trees is notrecommended.-We recommend flying in the group.-We recommend warm cloathes and goodmountain shoes.-Those who are learning to fly or are new to flyingshould not fly in the strongest thermal activity ofthe day.
