The 7 Steps to Clarity

Resistance (Knowing whats getting in your way) I. Insight (Why is this really important) T. Test (Checking that everything works for you) Y. You (Getting yourself ready to make it happen) Follow these 7 steps and you will find clarity on where you should focus your attention and time in your business. Designed for those feeling overwhelmed and time poor, or for those who just want to get ahead super quick.
  3. 3. What is your personal Mission Statement? Who do you need to BE in order to achieve your goal? What character traits will you need, what new skills will you need and what daily habits will you have. Try looking at someone you admire who has achieved what you want to achieve. How can you 'mirror' their behaviour more? What is your business Mission Statement? What is the purpose of your business? i.e. why does it exist? Your Energy Compass 01 Clear Direction THE CLARITY PROJECT What do you do which makes you feel: Strong/ExcitedTired/Bored Make sure your plan and goals include mostly things from your 'strong' side and that you start to plan to eliminate or delegate as much as possible from the other side over time. What do you enjoy doing? What comes easier to you than most? What gets you best results? Whats your ideal job? What do you hate doing? What do you always end up putting off? What takes you longer to do than it takes other people?
  5. 5. If you were told you could do anything at all, money was no object and you could learn everything you needed to make it a success what would you do? If you won the lottery tomorrow would you give up on this big dream? If you would then perhaps you need to dream something even more exciting.   6. 6. 02 Listen and Review THE CLARITY PROJECT A great place to start it by reviewing the year before and closing it off so you can move forward without being weighed down by last year. What did you learn last year? What accomplishments did you make last year? What did you discover about yourself last year? What would you have done differently? What were you most proud of last year? What do you wish you had spent more time doing? What do you wish you had spent less time doing? Review Your Year
  7. 7. Your Current Position 02 Listen & Review THE CLARITY PROJECT What is out there which could take you towards your goal and what could potentially get in your way? Opportunities and Strengths Warning Signs and Weaknesses What opportunities are you aware of at the moment. Write them all down so you can review them during the year. This could be some great strengths you have, some useful relationships you have made, some unusual products are aware of, some insight you have had.... What could potentially get in your way or cause you a problem in your business? These could be competitors, lack of skills, areas of weakness...
  8. 8. Your Current Numbers 02 Listen & Review THE CLARITY PROJECT What are your numbers telling you? Write down your figures as best as you can. You want to record all of your KPI's which stand for Key Performance Indicators. These are numbers which you monitor to assess the growth of your business. Add in any others that you wish to track. For example if you were building your email list you could also monitor open rates etc. Turn over: Profit: For you: Facebook Followers: Twitter Followers: Mailing List: How many hours working a week: Add any more KPI's you would like to monitor
  9. 9. What are your BIG overall personal goals? I.e. what do you want from Life as a whole?   10. 10. What are your 5 top business goals for this year - list them below. Please check in with how your business goals are going to support you in achieving your personal goals. If you have less than 5 then just stick with those as they maybe good juicy ones and you don't want to get lost with distractions. OR try and break your big ones down to smaller goals so they are more manageable. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. What is your big Vision goal?   11. 11. 03 Action Plan THE CLARITY PROJECT List the 5 main milestones that need to happen in the order to achieve each of the above goals. You can use another piece of paper if you need more space. Ensure you put deadlines by each one and check you are happy with that. You should end up with 25 milestone in total. Ensure you have spaced them out date-wise to ensure you are never taking on too much at any given time. Milestones
  12. 12. 03 Action Plan THE CLARITY PROJECT The Opportunities What are your key opportunities from the previous step which will make your plan come to life? Put then in order of maximum impact and make a note of time and monetary investment for each one.
  13. 13. Let's work out how much money you need to earn in order to live the life you dream of. Don't worry about where you are now. This is to set an exciting financial goal for you to work towards How much do you want to save a month for your "save to spend" pot? How much do you want to add to your "just for fun" pot? How much do you want to bring in to cover your bills? How much do you want to bring in for your daily 'life' shopping ? How much do you want to save each month? How much do you want to give to charity a month? Do you need to bring home any more money for anything else? How much do you need to bring home to cover all of these? What do you need to bring home to cover all of these? This is your Magic Number and the number you will aim for in your business. You can of course make it higher or if it is a number which scares you completely then go back and make it feel more achievable. Your magic number needs to stretch you but not scare you into disbelief. Remember this is profit and not turnover. 03 Action Plan THE CLARITY PROJECT Your Money

  15. 15. Now the sad fact is that with no customers or sales then you have no business. So this is the part of the course where we think about how to bring in enough customers to realize your dreams. 03 Action Plan THE CLARITY PROJECT Your Customer Plan How much did you want to turn over: How many sales will that mean you have to make: Working on a 1% conversion rate (if you know yours to be different then please work to your figures) how many leads do you have to generate. What process do you take your leads through? What value can you give your list which costs you very little. What is your Call To Action to bring them to order from you?
  16. 16. Often when we struggle to reach a goal we have set it is because we have not faced, or accepted, the sacrifice we will have to make in order to achieve it. If you REALLY want to achieve the goal you have set then you have to be 100% OK with doing what needs to be done in order to make it happen. If you are not then you will struggle. What Sacrifices will you have to make in order to achieve your goal (less TV, less time with friends etc etc)? Ensure you capture everything. Now go back and put a big tick by each one you are OK with. If there are any which are not OK with you then you will need to think about other ways or go back and tweak your goal. 04 Resistance THE CLARITY PROJECT Sacrifices
  17. 17. 04 Resistance THE CLARITY PROJECT Go and face the mirror and look into your eyes. Ask yourself if you 100% believe this is possible and that YOU can do this. If you are not 100% a yes then ask yourself why. Note down your reasons: Now take these reasons back to the mirror and ask yourself "Is this REALLY true?" and "Where did this belief come from?" If you believe it to be true then look into ways to remove this limiting belief. Limiting Yourself
  18. 18. Is there any reason why you may not be successful at your goal? For this you will need to look back on your warning signs you wrote down earlier. Are there any circumstances which may prevent it or are you missing a skill or item which you need to make it happen. What is stopping you from moving forward. If nothing then GREAT but if there is something ask yourself how you can get around those obstacles. This is a great time to ask in the group for other's insights into your blocks! 04 Resistance THE CLARITY PROJECT Your Blocks
  19. 19. 04 Resistance THE CLARITY PROJECT We all make excuses to let ourselves off the hook from taking action - what are your most common ones? What can you do to eliminate these? What could you tell yourself next time you make one of these excuses. What would you tell a friend who was making those same excuses which were stopping her from having the life she dreamed of? What will be your affirmation for when things get tough and you want to remind yourself of the person you ARE, even if you don't feel it yet you need to convince your subconscious that you are already being that person above. What are your excuses?
  20. 20. 05 Insight THE CLARITY PROJECT Now is a really good time to check in with WHY you want your goal. What does achieving it mean to you? The more powerful you make this 'why' then the more of a motivation it will give you. Why
  21. 21. 05 Insight THE CLARITY PROJECT How do you want to feel on a day by day basis. If you could choose to feel any way how would that be. Describe this feeling below as if you are feeling it right now. What does success at your chosen goal make you feel. Imagine you have already succeeded at your goal, how do you feel? Check that this matches how you want to spend your time feeling. How do you want to feel?

  24. 24. 06 Test THE CLARITY PROJECT What needs to happen to take you from your current day to your perfect day? Does achieving your goal take you towards having more of your perfect day? Does the way you are planning to achieve your goal fit in with your perfect day? If not then how can you tweak your plan to get you there? What question can you ask yourself about any shiny objects or opportunities to make sure it is in alignment with your goals. i.e. Does ... take me closer to my perfect day? Moving from A to B
  25. 25. 07 You THE CLARITY PROJECT We looked at what you need to BE in your mission statement - lets just check in with asking if you are happy to BE like that? What needs to happen to take you towards that version of yourself. What do you need to HAVE in order to achieve your goal? What character traits will you need, what new skills will you need and what daily habits will you have. Are you happy to RECEIVE the above? What needs to happen for you to receive the above? The rest is down to what you need to DO and how you want to feel and this is covered in excess through the rest of the course. What do you need to Be, Have and Do?
  26. 26. 07 You THE CLARITY PROJECT Do you believe you can do this? Do you have confidence in yourself? It is VITAL that the answer is (or quickly becomes!) a yes. The brutal truth is that ONLY YOU can make this happen for yourself. You can outsource, find support and make it easy on yourself but only you can or will drive this forward to a place you want to be. If you are stalling or there is a block somewhere then only YOU can change things. So today is about taking responsibility for your dreams and goals. If you don't then you will struggle. There are lots of areas to find help with your self confidence and we will post some great videos and links to resources on our website. Try skipping forward 10 years and see yourself having achieved your 10 year goals. Write your 'today' self a letter telling you that it will be all OK and any advice you can give having already done the journey. Believing in YOU
  27. 27. 07 You THE CLARITY PROJECT What is the number one thing that needs to happen ASAP to move you forward? Break it down into the smallest parts. Number them in the order the small parts need to happen the then just do the first thing as soon as possible (why not now?) I am behind you and know you can make anything happen if you believe you can, you take action and remain focused! Now you need to go and JUST BLOODY DO IT! Make a start
