  • 30 solar panels (165 watts each) rated at 5 kwatt/hour. (Sunny day will produce about 30 kilowatt hours) This is grid tied and feeds the generated power directly into the power grid.
  • Inverter (DC to AC power) and meter for monitoring production.

    3. 3. Local Interest and Resource We first went to a wind course at a renewable energy conference in New York. Then we got some hands on with Volvo.
    4. 8. <ul><li>Keith McAllister (Electrical Instructor at NRCC) went to Florida for training on PV installation and then went to Colorado for more training. </li></ul>
