  2. 2. Who? When? Where? Why? <ul><li>Why have a Book Drive? </li></ul><ul><ul><li>The Book Drive will help to restore both the Secondary and Elementary School library. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Who will participate? </li></ul><ul><ul><li>JCA staff, students, family, and friends. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>When will the drive start and end? </li></ul><ul><ul><li>The Book Drive starts the second week of September and will end the second week in October. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Where will the books be collected? </li></ul><ul><ul><li>The books may be placed in boxes in designated areas. </li></ul></ul>
  3. 3. <ul><li>New or gently used books. </li></ul><ul><li>Paperbacks and children’s books are gladly accepted </li></ul><ul><li>Young adult novels and fiction books </li></ul><ul><li>Non fiction books </li></ul><ul><li>Activity books and coloring books </li></ul>Acceptable Books
  4. 4. <ul><li>technical manuals </li></ul><ul><li>damaged books </li></ul><ul><li>magazines </li></ul><ul><li>outdated reference materials i.e. encyclopedia’s </li></ul><ul><li>books with torn or worn covers or pages. </li></ul><ul><li>books with missing covers or pages. </li></ul><ul><li>books published before 1985. </li></ul><ul><li>books with inappropriate language, sexual content, excessive violence, and explicit pictures. </li></ul>Unacceptable Books
