See the full affair right here. From the Bride… My fiancé Eric and I knew wewanted an intimate, beautiful pronovias altafullaand meaningful ceremony to celebrate ourmarriage and family. Determining the ceremonylocation was harder than I thought it would be, untilmy wedding planner gave me the best advice:“Close your eyes, and tell me where you seeyourself exchanging your vows with Eric.” Fromthere, we ended up at our family home inMontecito,
California, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Itwas absolutely perfect and where we weremeant to be. We knew wanted a day thatwas elegant and beautiful but not too stuffyor formal since we are both pretty laid-backpeople. We worked together as a teamthroughout the entire planning process withour wedding planner to make decisions thatbest represented us. We set the overalltone and feeling with our beautifulpronovias altea letterpress stationery byThe Pink Orange, incorporating colors thatwere bold, crisp and clean, from our save-the-date to our amazing invitation that setthe mood for our gorgeous dinnercelebration at San Ysidro Ranch followingour ceremony. I have never been a huge“flower person” and was completely in lovewith all the succulents Mindy Riceincorporated throughout the entire day.
When guests arrived to the house they were greeted with a signature“Kumquat Champagne Sparkler” cocktail created by our planner that usedfresh kumquats picked from trees on the property! Our ceremony wasperfect, even as the clouds came rolling in, and one of my favorite momentswas seeing our son make his way down the aisle to us escorted by ourharpist playing “It’s a Small World!” I wanted to make certain I didn’t misshim coming down the aisle so we all entered before him and he came downthe aisle last … it was awesome! As we entered the wine cellar terrace atSan Ysidro Ranch, it was like we walked into our very own fairytale …everything was simply perfect! From the individual potted succulent placecards to the custom-embroidered chair backs that mirrored The Pink Orangedesign from our stationery suite. The music by acoustic guitarist, NikhiKorula, was exactly our style and set the mood. We even had a first danceto one of favorite songs he learned just for us! It was magical. We feel solucky to have been introduced to so many talented and amazing vendors byKatie O and love all of the amazing pronovias amanda images and video byClark+Walker Studio captured as it absolutely expresses the love andenergy that was present to us that day for our family and friends.
